The Reykjavík University (RU) website is many faceted. Each department has their own section as well as numerous research units, centres and labs. The RU umbrella also covers the MBA and MPM schools, Iceland School of Energy, the Open University, Skema.is and Háskólagrunnur HR. Most of these sections are included both on the Icelandic site and English site although since the audience differs, the approach on each language site must be catered appropriately. -

The Iceland School of Energy needed a strong web presence to show foreign students why they should choose studying sustainable development and renewable energy in Iceland. -

This fast growing political party had a website that didn't meet their needs. I volunteered to create a new site and used Gerry McGovern's Top Task Management and Customer Care Words methods as a requirements analysis guide. The initial site went live in the summer of 2016 and has since gotten a nice visual redesign by Andri Sig at Vefstofan. -

I’ve been involved in making websites since the turn of the century and have worn many hats during this time.
Asking questions, learning and solving problems are at my core, which relate directly to user data, usability and beautiful design being very important in my work.
